I was in need of a high beam flashlight for my job. It does get super hot when on for more than a minute or two, but that's known for high output lights. I've yet to use it in the rain or drop it while standing up. So far it's great for the price you get it for, and I will definitely purchase another light. I only rated 4 stars now due to not having pushed it's limits yet.
The best out there hands down. The switch is out of the way but easily accessible during stressful incidents. Ive used it for several weeks now serving high risk warrants and it is my favorite hands down
