Z-Bolt® Certified - Power Output Cards
The JS-5 features guaranteed Z-Bolt® Certified Power for the brightest possible daylight dot; most visible nighttime beam. Each Z-Bolt® Certified Power green laser pointer is factory tuned & calibrated, then tested & certified on a laser power meter. These Certified Power units are rated at 4.0 to 5.0 mW power output and are 2 to 3 times brighter than standard Class IIIa units - all ship with our exclusive Laser Power Output Certificates.
Special APC Circuit and IR Filter for Eye Safety
The JS-5 includes our special APC control circuit and includes an IR filter for eye and viewing safety. This computerized APC diode drive circuit features "Automatic Power Control". The advanced circuit is based on a photo diode feedback loop. The photo diode monitors the optical output and provides a control signal for the laser diode, helping to maintain the diode operation at a constant optical output level. The circuit adds to the lifetime of the laser, prevents overheating, and provides overall power output stability & efficiency.

I really like the clciky cap with the cran port! I may be amongst the minority when I say I have never really liked thesurefire plugs not the port/clicky capspf surefire, mostly price wise. This cap as a very tactile button, crane port is nice and tight but not too tight to where your plug gets stuck inside. The ring on the crane port moves! You can spin the port to where it'll fit the best on how you mounted your light, I did not know this cap did this and it is an awesome innovative feature!
My only gripe about the cap, is the bulk.it is definitely alittle bulkier and heavier than I expected, and I know there is only so much they'd be able to change dimensionally, but I think if they went to the least about of material possible while retaining the current feature set this would be handsdown the best cap on the market
I couldn't be happier with the quality of the product, or its performance. I am really looking forward to putting it thru its paces in the upcoming training season.
This handheld light was a gift to my husband who is a local police officer.He is absolutely in love with the product, and feels safer with this product on his side.Hands-down, the strongest flashlight he’s ever seen in his life and overpowers any other handheld light when shined against it. Any product that provides even a little bit more safety for law-enforcement officers on the streets is priceless in my eyes. Absolutely worth every cent.
