UNITY TACTICAL AXON™ SL Switches
AXON™ SL is the smaller, single button switch in the AXON™ family. It hard mounts directly to an M1913 Rails. AXON™ SL features a 45-degree angled button face for an ergonomically correct activation angle, making it easy to index under stress, while wearing PPE or facing extreme environmental conditions.
Molded from high-impact polymer, AXON™ SL holds up to abuse in the field. The mechanical switch design allows weapon light models to fire in both momentary and constant-on modes in a familiar click tailcap design. These special Z-BOLT® AXON™ SL switches are ALSO built for Crane-Style laser ports (found in Z-BOLT®, B.E. Meyers, Holosun, Insight/L-3, Steiner, and Wilcox products).

I ordered the “mismatch” FDE body with black tail cap and Thyrm LPC. There’s nothing mismatched or deficient about the finish itself, it apparently doesn’t match Z-Bolt’s heads, which didn’t matter because I don’t even own one. The anodizing and machining quality are excellent, my Modlite AMP head fits perfectly, and everything functions exactly as it should. The switch feels solid with a reliable momentary function and activates with less pressure than a McClicky. I personally like the McClicky too, so I’m indifferent to the quicker momentary.
Overall, a very well-made body and an excellent value at the deal price.
