Z-BOLT® Momentary ONLY Tailcaps
Arisaka TC-2 Momentary Switch Type
The Z-BOLT® MOT tailcap switch for momentary light activation. Thread fully for constant on.
1. Thread the tailcap onto the light body until light activates.
2. Back the tailcap off 0.5 to 1.5 turns until your preferred amount of switch travel and feel is obtained.
3. The light will activate as long as the button is pressed.
Momentary only switches are the preferred style for large numbers of civilians, police, and enlisted military. Often preferred by weapon instructors because they simplify light operation. Why? Because our behavior changes when under stress or fire - the momentary switch eliminates the possibility of unwanted or accidental light activation. (like with a Surefire Z68, or Z-BOLT® CST clicky-style tailcap)

Looks great, feels great. The first one I received was faulty, customer service was great/ responded super fast and sent out a replacement right away. The replacement worked great.
Very easy to use with how the control switch is set up. The device on light indicator is just bright enough to catch your eye if you’re watchful, but not too bright to distract you while you’re looking down range. The IR illuminator is also great and easy to adjust. I love the wide angle for CQB/room clearing since it eliminates the need for a diffuser lens/cap.
A must have for EDC. Gives you more options then a dedicated weapons light. Very high quality material. Really strong throw. The lumens count does not justify how bright this light is. Bright enough to blind someone in a self defense situation. Buy it, use it, love it, I did!
