The Z-BOLT® DFCPT (Dual Function Cable Port Tailcap) dual switch tailcap is designed for Crane-Style laser plugs ONLY. Surefire® tape switches will not fit Z-Bolt® cable port tailcaps. The large target "clicky style" button offers "dual function" device actuation. Use light pressure for momentary-on; harder pressure "click" for constant-on activation. Rim "guard" around the button dome prevents accidental activation. Cable port section of tailcap rotates for easy insertion or removal from rail mounted devices.

The purchased the light rifle mount and remote switch. The light is equal to my mid-tier surefire light in performance. The beam can reach out to what I would consider effective nighttime carbine distances. The spill is good for close range assessments. The overall cost of this system was considerably lower than that of the top tier competitors.
Very easy to use with how the control switch is set up. The device on light indicator is just bright enough to catch your eye if you’re watchful, but not too bright to distract you while you’re looking down range. The IR illuminator is also great and easy to adjust. I love the wide angle for CQB/room clearing since it eliminates the need for a diffuser lens/cap.
A must have for EDC. Gives you more options then a dedicated weapons light. Very high quality material. Really strong throw. The lumens count does not justify how bright this light is. Bright enough to blind someone in a self defense situation. Buy it, use it, love it, I did!
