BOLT has partnered with American Defense Manufacturing to design a QD lever assembly for the ACAL housing. The new ADM lever provides additional lever material ideal when wearing gloves. Includes ADM Lever, Bolt, clamp and adjustment nut - plus a special interface connector for the ACAL housing. This updated version will allow the lever to be locked down by safety wire or paracord if the mission requires it for extra security.
Quick & easy installation. Remove the mount locking pin; replace the standard lug & clamp bolt with ADM assembly. Go!!
The ADM QD lever is a great mounting option. Some people prefer the standard cross-bolt mount, advocating it as "more secure". But the ADM QD adjustable with a tension **** just like other throw-level type mounts, and attaches nice and snug on the rail with no movement/rattle. I like the ability to quickly switch between rifles as desired. I have seen some say that they only need their laser for one rifle (if you only have one rifle, then OK I guess...I'll try not to judge) so if that's your thing, fine, but think of ease of removing in case you need to in order to adjust/change adjacent mounted devices, changes or maintenance to your rifle, etc...
Installation is easy, it's secure, and it goes on and off quickly, which are all the things I can think of wanting in a mounting system.
Works great, on the DD RISIII rail the upper 45's will make this mount interfere with front mbus. Had to come up with some ideas for mounting exactly how I wanted but mount is solid and flawless.
